About this course:
This course covers
tasks in NLP ( Natural Language Processing ) from basic to advanced : sentiment
analysis, dialogue state tracking, to name a few. Upon finishing, you will be able to recognize NLP tasks in your daily
work, and judge techniques are likely to work
well. The final project is devoted to one of the most trending topics in
today’s NLP. You will build your own chat-bot that will
assist with search on StackOverflow platform. Project will be
on reaal world assignments of the course, that will enhance your hands-on
experience with such tasks as text classification, named entities identification, and duplicates identification. Throughout the lectures, we will target at finding a balance between conventional and deep learning
techniques in NLP and cover them in parallel. We will
discuss alignment models in machine translation and see similar mechanism in neural networks. On the contrary, you will get
in-depth understanding of detailed happening inside.
Some materiials will be based on one-month-old papeers and NLP research.
This course is Intended for :
- This course is for those who are intrested in NLP field and wants to know the current state-of-the-art in resarch and production. We expect that you have alrady taken some courses on machine learning and deep lerning, but probably have never applied those models to texts and wants to get a quick start.
